Préludes – ein trockener Rotwein vom Weinberg Villa Jacobs in Potsdam

Der Weinberg im Park der Villa Jacobs hat eine lange Geschichte, so dass es für uns ein Herzenswunsch war an diese alte Tradition anzuknüpfen. Allerdings wollten wir das Experiment wagen einen Rotwein anzubauen. Wir haben uns nach langer Beratung mit den besten Weinfachleuten und der Hochschule in Geisenheim für eine historische Rebsorte entschieden, die wunderbar sanfte sehr blumige Geschmacksaromen hervorbringt.

Der Wein wurde in kleinen Fässern aus französischer Limousineiche ausgebaut, in denen er rund 12 Monate gereift ist. Er weist eine granatrote Farbe auf. Die reifen Tannine sind gut eingebunden ohne zu dominieren. Der Duft erinnert an dunkle Beeren und Kirschen, der Geschmack ist voll und langanhaltend. Es wird empfohlen den Wein zu dekantieren, um den ganzen Aromenreichtum zum Ausdruck zu bringen.
